Ticket Purchase
Online via this website - click the "Buy Tickets" button at the top of any page on this website. Online purchases may be made by using a credit card. There is presently no service charge for online ticket purchases.

By Phone - tickets may be purchased over the phone during box office hours by using a credit card. There is presently no service charge for phone orders. The credit card will be charged and the tickets are then held as prepaid for your pickup at the box office during the 90 minutes prior to your ticketed performance. You may also pick them up anytime in advance during box office hours.

At the Theatre Walkup Window - tickets may also be purchased at the walkup window at the theatre during box office hours by using cash, check or credit card.

Tickets are always subject to availability at the time of purchase. Sorry, unpaid tickets cannot be held. All ticket sales are final.

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates may be purchased at any time in person or over the phone. The value of the certificate will be determined by the denomination of tickets that you select (ex: two adult tickets to a musical; a flexpass season ticket; etc.).

Ticket Exchange
Single tickets may be exchanged a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the ticketed performance and will be charged a $2.00 per ticket exchange service fee. All exchanges are subject to ticket availability at the time of exchange.

Season tickets may be exchanged once per play for another performance of the same play at no charge up to one working day before the performance. All exchanges are subject to ticket availability at the time of exchange. Subsequent or late ticket exchanges will be charged a $2.00 per ticket exchange service fee. New tickets will not be held until the original tickets are received either through the mail or in person at the box office.

Tickets for all performances in the entire play season are available beginning in June. Early exchanges are encouraged since many performances sell out in advance. Tickets cannot be exchanged between play productions, only for alternate performances of the same production.

Lost Ticket Replacement
All MVT tickets are registered, so lost or destroyed season tickets can be replaced by arrangement with the business office during its hours Monday through Friday, 9:30am - 5:00pm only. A service fee of $2.00 per replacement ticket will be charged.

Waiting List
At sold-out performances, names are taken at the box office window for a waiting list for that day’s performance beginning 90-minutes prior to curtain. One must be at the theatre in person to be put onto the waiting list. Approximately 5 minutes prior to curtain, the box office will begin releasing any unclaimed tickets to the waiting list, beginning with the first name on the list. It is unlikely that parties of 2 or more will be able to be seated together when gaining admission through the waiting list.

For 2011-12 Season Ticket Holders:
How to Use Your Five-Play "Traditional" Season Ticket
Each "traditional" season ticket packet provides one admission ticket for each of the first five plays of the 2011-12 season, valid for a specific performance within the play’s run. No further reservation is needed to attend that performance.  Simply show up with your ticket in hand.  Note: 2011-12 season tickets do not include the special production of Honk!.

How to Use Your Flex Pass Season Ticket
Each Flex pass consists of five vouchers, which must be exchanged in advance for play admission tickets.  Note: 2011-12 Flex Pass season tickets can not be redeemed for the special production of Honk!.

  1. Select the play and performance you wish to attend.
  2. Call the MVT Box office at 988-6131 to reserve an admission ticket(s) for your selected performance.
  3. The reservation agent will ask for your ticket transaction number(s) located on the bottom of each pass you are using.
  4. Your tickets will be held at the MVT box office for you to pick up. Your flex pass voucher is your cash receipt and must be brought to the box office to exchange for your ticket.
  5. As with any MVT season ticket you may change your performance date once per play at no cost as long as you change at least one working day prior to the performance.
  6. Once you have reserved an admission ticket, there will be no refunds for no-shows on admission tickets reserved and not picked up. The box office keeps a record of flex pass voucher reservations and use.
